its prolly not her job but........why so many technical issues that are prolly becuse of the game it self.
trow rocks at me etc. edit this as you wich......all my games runs fine and Gabe can make a real game..even if it FPS........never saw a game like HL2, runing so fine , on any Cpu with Geforces Mx 400 series.
Guild wars is a pain to run, take 100% cpu etc
IM sure at least 25% of comunity are unstable : please reasure me its not the case
|
There not apart of the community if there unstable. And I think your completely wrong with the 25%.
By the way, have you installed anything new? Software, Hardware, or actual Graphics Card, RAM, CPU, PSU or anything new whatsoever?

you dont need the cd to play the game once you have installed the game, not sure if anyone knows that or not so the cd having anything wrong with it now has nothing to do with his gamce crashing

25% of the COMMUNITY may be unstable, but no way in hell does more than one or a few percent of the community have problems with the GAME being unstable...
GW is the most bug-free and stable game I've ever played, and that includes other MMORPGs. You want to see what "unstable" means, try Everquest 2 for a while.
The vast majority of problems reported in this forum are 1) computers with inadequate cooling, and 2) people with really bad (often shared or wireless) internet connections.

I am using a BFG Geforce 6800 128 mb http://www.bfgtech.com/6800OC.html
The image quality is set to : Quality. In guild wars my GFX card temp is around 50ºC. I have 1GB of ram.
I thought it was a problem with my GFX card, so I tried my old geforce ti4200 which I used to play GW with on my old computer(on my old computer GW never crashed ) So i was playing with my old card and it crashed with same kind of error.
No aquamark was fine. Torture test reported no errors.(its not a visual test) Right now my comp is fine other than GW.
Those screenshots I posted, well that has never happend since and never happend before. I was just playing for about 20 mins and it just happend. Once I restarted my computer it went back to normal.
I can use all the administrative tools, so im logged in as admin.

It still may be a problem with you graphix card, if you have not gone to the nvidia website directly and dl there drivers you should. Windows has a standard driver but it doesnt do the job for guild wars. You should try to get the newest ones from Nvidias site, I had a problem alot like yours and this fixed it

TY but yes..ive mae so many things.....testing memory in single/dual chans, changing Vid cards......brands and models.....changed hds.....unpluged evryting from 3 1/2 to Dvd roms and 1394 port.........tech ingeneer in here.....and yes GW is bug free but.....dose in game bugs are the same territory as runningit ?
and why the hell 80% of us use 90+ % of CPU ?
this is 1 of the main reason i thing GW is a pain to run for alot.
Anet again .....sry for the language but FU for sending automated messages..
